Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Records Requested:
I am seeking any new records related to the proceedings in the matter of Mirza M. Bulur, et al. v. New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, et al., currently pending before the New Jersey Supreme Court under Docket No. 090126. Specifically, I request:​

Any documents, motions, briefs, appendices, or memoranda submitted by any party or amicus curiae in connection with this case, subsequent to the records provided in response to my previous request (Request Number: C228927). This includes, but is not limited to:​

Briefs filed by the plaintiffs-appellants or defendants-respondents, received by the Office of the Attorney General, and or the Department of Law and Public Safety.
Amicus curiae briefs submitted by interested entities or individuals, received by the Office of the Attorney General, and or the Department of Law and Public Safety.
Any orders, opinions, or correspondence issued by the New Jersey Supreme Court pertaining to this case, received by the Office of the Attorney General, and or the Department of Law and Public Safety.

Under OPRA, a "government record" is defined as:​
"...any paper, written or printed book, document, drawing, map, plan, photograph, microfilm, data processed or image processed document, information stored or maintained electronically or by sound-recording or in a similar device, or any copy thereof, that has been made, maintained or kept on file in the course of his or its official business by any officer, commission, agency or authority of the State or of any political subdivision thereof, including subordinate boards thereof, or that has been received in the course of his or its official business by any such officer, commission, agency, or authority of the State or of any political subdivision thereof, including subordinate boards thereof..." ​

Therefore, documents such as motions, briefs, or other filings submitted to the Attorney General's Office in the course of official business are considered government records under OPRA, regardless of whether they were created by the agency or received from external parties.
