Engineering:
The County has not performed any traffic studies on the Rea Ave Extension
within the past 10 years.
The Borough of Hawthorne did retain the services of Boswell Engineering to
perform a Traffic Evaluation for Rea Avenue Extension Left Turns. See
attached Boswell’s report dated/signed July 18, 2024 and the reports
appendices - Appendix A (Turning Movement Counts); Appendix B (Hawthorne
PD Crash Data); Appendix C (Existing Capacity/LOS Results); Appendix D
(Diverted Capacity / LOS Results).
Please note that any follow up questions should be directed to the Borough
of Hawthorne, as these are their documents that the County happens to have
on file.
