The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) has closed the
above-referenced request for records under the Open Public Records Act
(OPRA). However, this request has been denied on the basis that this
request is improper under OPRA, and the official Closure Receipt is
attached.
This request constitutes a request for "information", which is not covered
under the requirements of OPRA. A request for "information" is not
requesting a record made, maintained, or kept on file in the course of
official business.
Therefore, this request is denied and closed, effective today.
