Dear Records Custodian,
Pursuant to the New Jersey Open Public Records Act (OPRA), N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq., including N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1, which provides that government records shall be readily accessible for inspection, copying, or examination unless exempt by law, I respectfully request access to and copies of public records concerning an incident involving Miryan Balseca-Pena, investigated by the South Plainfield Police Department.
