This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:

All , if any, public liability insurance, bonding information, as well as all ,if any, oaths of office made in connection with the Constitution for the United States of America for every employee of, or person under contract with, the Borough of Carteret.

§ 2635.101 Basic obligation of public service.
(a) Public service is a public trust. Each employee has a responsibility to
the United States Government and its citizens to place loyalty to the
Constitution, laws and ethical principles above private gain. To ensure
that every citizen can have complete confidence in the integrity of the
Federal Government, each employee shall respect and adhere to the
principles of ethical conduct set forth in this section, as well as the
implementing standards contained in this part and in supplemental
agency regulations.

N.J.S.A. 2C:27-2 outlines the crime of Official Misconduct in New Jersey. Here is an excerpt from the statute: "A public servant is guilty of official misconduct when, with purpose to obtain a benefit for himself or another or to injure or deprive another of a benefit: (a) He commits an act relating to his office but constituting an unauthorized exercise of his official functions, knowing that such act is unauthorized or he is committing such act in an unauthorized manner."
