Omar:
This is to acknowledge receipt of your OPRA request.
Evictions are handled by the Somerset County Sheriff's Office in Somerville. They maintain eviction files pertaining to the Borough of North Plainfield as well as all municipalities in Somerset County.
Yours faithfully,

Dear North Plainfield Borough,
Can you please advise on the status of the remaining documents requested, such as Tax Records. Thanks.
Yours faithfully,
Omar
Omar:
Our tax office continues to research the balance of their related requests.
As for water bills or shutoffs, those are reported by NJ American Water Company. They are not a municipal matter. Our Property Maintenance Officer has already replied with details responsive to your requests.
Yours faithfully,
Rich Phoenix, RMC

Omar:
Please find tax, lien and sewer information as requested.
I am advised that this delay was due to a regularly scheduled audit in
progress.
