Dear Cliffside Park Borough Custodian,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
1. List of Foreclosed Properties: A current list of all properties within the municipality that are in the process of foreclosure, including properties with tax liens, sheriff’s sales, or those currently in foreclosure proceedings. For each property, I would appreciate information regarding the address, the legal owner(s), and the date of foreclosure initiation or tax lien sale.
2. Tax Delinquency Records: A list of properties with delinquent property taxes, including the tax identification number, property address, and the outstanding tax amount, along with any relevant details regarding upcoming tax lien sales or foreclosure proceedings.
3. Property Auctions / Sales Information: A schedule of any upcoming tax lien or property auctions scheduled for the current year, as well as relevant information about previously completed sales in the past year.
4. Property Condition Assessments: If available, any available property condition assessments or notices regarding violations, code enforcement, or citations for properties that are in foreclosure or under tax lien.
My preferred delivery method for response(s) to this request is by E-mail as attachments. Please confirm you have received this request. If you are not the custodian of records, please forward my request to that person and provide their email address to me for future reference.

Your request pursuant to the Open Public Records Act (OPRA)
dated January 11, 2025 was received by the Records Custodian of the
Borough of Cliffside Park. The time for response is seven business days,
or fourteen business days if the request is made for a commercial purpose,
unless the Custodian informs you that an extension of time is required to
comply with your request. N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5.
Your OPRA request sought access to the following:
