Hello Mr. Mengisteab-
There are no outstanding vacant house fees for this property. Our
Construction Official has provided this response to the rest of your
inquiry:
46 Spring St. is currently listed as a two family dwelling. However due to
the current condition of the structure it would be classified as
uninhabitable.
There were permits issued to the previous owner but they have lapsed and
are now considered cancelled due to the lack of continuous work.
A transfer of sale can occur with the submission of a signed letter from
the new owner indicating that there is no intention to occupy the
structure until a new Certificate of Occupancy is issued by the Borough of
Flemington Construction Department. This letter would also satisfy the
Fire Marshal's required smoke detector certification.
Permits will be required for the rehab project.
Please be advised that prior approval from the Borough's Historical
Commission will be required before permits can be issued.
I have no other documents to provide. Thank you -
Sallie Graziano
Clerk, Borough of Flemington
