Dear North Bergen Township,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

Request for the complete final adopted versions of eighteen previously adopted ordinances specifically identified by Board of Commissioners meeting date, adoption agenda item, and exact agenda title.

Pursuant to the New Jersey Open Public Records Act, N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq., I request electronic copies of the eighteen existing government records identified below. This is not a request for “all ordinances,” legal research, explanations, or creation of a chronology. Each requested ordinance is separately identified with specificity.

For each numbered item, “complete final adopted ordinance” means the full official ordinance as maintained by the Township Clerk, including the ordinance number; every page of operative text; all salary, classification, authorized-strength, composition, or Table of Organization schedules; all tables, exhibits, appendices, and attachments; any material expressly incorporated into the ordinance; and the signature, attestation, adoption, or effective-date page. If an ordinance addresses multiple municipal departments, please produce the complete ordinance rather than only a Police Department excerpt.

An agenda, agenda summary, minutes entry, ordinance index entry, or website listing is not a substitute for the requested adopted ordinance. Please identify each produced record by the request number below and its ordinance number. If reasonably practicable, provide one PDF per ordinance.
