POSS Audit Logs

Currently waiting for a response from North Bergen Township, they should respond promptly and normally no later than (details).

Dear North Bergen Township,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

Records requested:

Any and all POSS Audit Logs between September 1, 2025 through February 1, 2026 for:

1. Captain Jorge Raposo's POSS record

2. Captain Jorge Raposo's "Workday" before and after the unauthorized changes

3. Captain Jorge Raposo's assigned hours before and after the unauthorized changes

Additionally, there is a public right to know due to amongst other matters, record manipulation, tampering with public records, retroactive backfilling, falsification of official records, etc. From my observation of images before and after, a rough count of records changed are guesstimated to be between 50 and 100. These records could only be changed by either members of the Internal Affairs Unit or Office of the Chief of Police after they were provided notice and a preservation request. The Township of North Bergen has an obligation to release these records (audit logs) or risk losing the public trust more than it has already, with the longstanding reputation of previous misconduct and criminal behaviors alleged against other minority officers.

My preferred delivery method for response(s) to this request is by E-mail as attachments. Please confirm you have received this request. If you are not the custodian of records, please forward my request to that person and provide their email address to me for future reference.

Yours faithfully,

Alicia Raposo
