This is allowed under the OPRA law.......
*Access to electronic records and non-printed materials shall be provided free of charge, but the public agency may charge for the actual costs of any needed supplies such as computer discs.
*Records provided via e-mail and facsimile are free of charge. Custodians must charge the actual cost to provide access to all other electronic materials such as CD-ROMs, DVDs, videotapes, audiotapes, etc.

Dear Seaman, Sam,
I do not see how a Township could have between 1100-1200 Use of Force Reports during a 31 day time period.

Yours sincerely,

Jack Roberts

Seaman, Sam,

Good Day,

My apologies. I have several OPRA requests that I am working on. One of them asked for 4 years of use of force reports including 2017, my confusion. In January there were 15-20 use of force reports filed. All those reports need to be copied, redacted accordingly and then copied again so the requestor cannot see through the "redaction". After they are copied they will be scanned in to be emailed. There will be no fee for the email, but the fee is for the copies created. Approx. 40 copies @ .05 = 2.00. I do not believe there will be a special service fee because it is not a voluminous amount. Thank you.
