Dear Sir/Madam:

The Evesham Township Police Department Records Custodian received your
OPRA request on October 4, 2018.  The seven (7) business day deadline to
respond to your request is October 15, 2018.  This response to your
request is being provided to you on the 1st business day after the
custodian’s receipt of your request. 

Your OPRA request sought, in part, access to the following: “…2. A copy of
the FRO and/or FIELD Training manual for the most recent two (2) Officers
that have been released/ graduated from the Evesham Police FTO program” 

Currently, your request fails to identify with reasonable clarity the
specific government records sought, as is required by Bent v. Stafford
Police Department, 381 N.J.Super. 30, 37 (App. Div.  2005). At this time,
we request clarification of your OPRA request.  Please reply to this email
and clarify whether you are seeking information on

- the last two officers who graduated to become FTOs,  or

- the last two officers who were trained by FTOs and graduated to serve in
our Agency.    

Failure to provide written clarification of your request by October 29,
2018 will result in the closure of this OPRA request.  If this occurs, you
may submit another OPRA request at that time.
