Dear Little Egg Harbor Township Police Department,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Dear Brian Flynn,
I am writing in response to the denial of report 21LE11033 indicated on #3 of the OPRA response, citing N.J.S.A. 2C:25-3. I respectfully request reconsideration of this denial and the release of a "redacted version" of the requested records, as permitted under OPRA.
While I understand that certain domestic violence records may be confidential under the Prevention of Domestic Violence Act (N.J.S.A. 2C:25-1 et seq.), OPRA requires that non-exempt portions of records be disclosed with appropriate redactions (N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5(g)). For example, basic information such as the date, time, and general location of a domestic violence call, or anonymized incident details, may be released without disclosing victim identities or other exempt information. I am not seeking confidential victim information, social security numbers, or other protected data, and I am willing to accept a redacted version of the records to comply with privacy requirements.
I appreciate your reconsideration and look forward to your response. Thank you for your time.
Yours Truly,
Erin
