Police Report request
Dear Orange City,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
Police reports filed by Orange Police Officer Austin Cantone on June 2, 2024.
In accordance with the law, please redact any personal identifiers. If you determine that you will redact or withhold any otherwise responsive data, please inform me in writing of the specific statutory basis for your denial.

Dear Tamara Robinson,
Are you just going to ignore me all together now? I patiently waited the 7 business days for the request to be fulfilled. When it wasn’t fulfilled on time, nor was an extension requested on your part, I simply asked when I could expect the requested documents. That email was completely ignored. This is unacceptable and I am requesting a response by the end of business today or I will be forced to take other actions.

Ok. I renew my original request then for all police reports written by Officer Austin Cantone on June 2,2024. I am not sure of the exact location. I wouldn’t expect there to be a large amount of reports to provide for one single day from one single officer.
