Dear Howell Township,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Records requested:

Donato v. Township of Union does in fact require a custodian to conduct a search to locate record that is named in the request - the case cannot be used as a shield to prevent the dissemination of obviously uncomfortable information. Donato does not require research to be done that involves a guess as to what the requestor nay have meant. In this case, CAD reports, accident reports, investigative reports, and/or supplemental reports are all documents known to and maintained at the Howell Township Police Department.

For the period of time from January 1, 2023 through the date of your response, CAD reports, accident reports, investigative reports or supplemental reports with Councilwoman Susan Fischer's name contained therein and that relate to allegations that Councilwoman Susan Fischer's was involved in or suspected of the theft of Mayoral candidate John Leggio's campaign signs in or around April, 2024;

For the period of time from January 1, 2023 through the date of your response, CAD reports, accident reports, investigative reports or supplemental reports with Councilman Ian Nadel's name contained therein and that relate to any motor vehicle accident or stop that he was involved in, including, without limitation, an accident in which he backed into and knocked over a telephone pole in Howell;

For the period of time from January 1, 2023 through the date of your response, CAD reports, accident reports, investigative reports or supplemental reports with Mayor John Leggio's name contained therein;
