Police officer roster and credentials
Dear Collingswood Borough,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
OPRA Request 1: Records showing first and last name, badge number, and rank of each active duty police officer employed by the Borough during the period beginning January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2020.
OPRA Request 2: For each officer identified in records produced for OPRA request 1, please provide records showing the police academy from which each officer graduated. No personnel items are requested. Only records showing the name of and/or proof of successful academy training is requested.
OPRA Request 3: As announced by recent orders from the Attorney General and upheld at the appellate court of New Jersey, please provide records showing the names of any officers identified in OPRA request 1 who have been suspended 5 days or more during his or her tenure as an employee of the Borough of Collingswood.

Please see the attached in reference to your OPRA request.

I will have it by Monday, May 10th.

The government record requested is denied as it is subject to the exemption of N.J.S.A. 47:1A-10. The appellate court decision referenced in your request is currently pending before the New Jersey Supreme Court. A decision has not been made yet.
