Police Officer Body Worn Camera

DAIS-N-AID made this OPRA request to Freehold Township Automatic anti-spam measures are in place for this older request. Please let us know if a further response is expected or if you are having trouble responding.

Waiting for an internal review by Freehold Township of their handling of this request.

Dear Freehold Township,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Records requested: All Officer’s Body Worn Camera videos from the EMS Call at South Gate Manor on the evening hours of Election Night, November 4, 2025, where Committeeman Anthony J. Ammiano requested police lights be turned off to avoid bringing any attention to the Freehold Township Republican festivities at South Gate Manor.

My preferred delivery method for response(s) to this request is by E-mail as attachments. Please confirm you have received this request. If you are not the custodian of records, please forward my request to that person and provide their email address to me for future reference.

Yours faithfully,

DAIS-N-AID

Dear Freehold Township,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Open Public Records Act reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Freehold Township's handling of my OPRA request 'Police Officer Body Worn Camera'.

Township Employee Kenneth S. Kleinman’s denial response citing “Executive Order #26” is irreverent to the material the request was seeking. The request is only seeking “Body Worn Camera Footage” from a Freehold Township Police Department Call For Service. No specific “medical information” was being requested on any specific person or persons. Proper redactions can be made to exclude any “medical, psychiatric or psychological history, diagnosis, treatment or evaluation” if and where applicable.

The denial was only issued to protect the comments made by Committeeman Ammiano and the view of the insides of the Freehold Township Council Republican election night party being held at South Gate Manor.

It would behoove the Township Person reviewing this complaint to seek with the Township Attorney regarding this simple Body Worn Camera Request.

A full history of my OPRA request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://opramachine.com/request/police_o...

Yours faithfully,
