Police Car and Body Camera Footage
Dear Wayne Township,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
- Records of all Wayne Police Department police vehicles equipped with dashboard camera, rear view camera, or any other audio/visual recording equipment and the footage retention policy for footage captured by such equipment. Please identify the vehicles by car number.
-Confirm whether Wayne Police Department officers use body camera equipment and the footage retention policy for footage captured by such equipment.

In reference to your OPRA request number 19-899, dated July 19, 2019,
please be advised that we have no documents responsive to your request as
neither the Police vehicles or officers are equipped with video/and or
recording equipment.
