Police body worm camera footage related to a medical call in public, 9am May 3 23
Dear Lyndhurst Township,
I am requesting redacted police body worn camera footage from a medical call that took place in public around 9am May 3, 2023. The purpose for this request is to obtain materials to better educate public safety/EMS agencies on CPR and AED use, which was reportedly successfully done by officers on this call. This is not for commercial purposes and redactions of this persons name and personal identifying information would be preferred. Please advise an estimated price for the files.

Mr. Alexiou,
With regard to your OPRA request dated October 9, 2023, a USB drive
containing the Body Worn Camera Footage you requested is available for
pick up at our office. There is a $4.00 fee due upon receipt for this
drive. Please note that some redactions were made pursuant to Executive
Order 26, “information relating to medical, psychiatric or psychological
history, diagnosis, treatment or evaluation” which are excluded from
public access. Redactions were also made to remove certain personal
identifiers also non-disclosable under OPRA.
These videos, which depict medical information and treatment which are
generally exempt from OPRA pursuant to Executive Order 26, are being
produced in redacted form pursuant to the Common Law based upon your
representation that the videos will be utilized solely for EMS Training
purposes.
If you would like the USB drive mailed to you, please advise an address
where the drive should be mailed. The $4.00 cost for this drive plus
shipping cost will need to be received prior to mailing.
