Police Body Camera and Dispatch Recordings
Dear Town of Hammonton,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
The following records requested are all regarding Hammonton Police Department case number 2020009817, a crash investigation that occurred on July 16, 2020 at 1242 with Timothy Reed as the driver. Documents requested are:
1) All full, complete, and unclipped body worn camera video from all officers on location for case number 2020009817. The driver of the vehicle was uniformed law enforcement personnel, therefore there should be no redactions or clipped video. Additionally, multiple other officers are seen in the previously released video wearing body cameras.
2) All body worn camera logs for the duration of case number 2020009817, showing what time cameras were activated by the officers on scene and any times they were paused, muted, or turned off.
3) Any/all radio logs and radio audio transmissions for case number 2020009817.
4) Any/all audio recordings of incoming or outgoing phone calls to the Hammonton Police Department regarding case number 2020009817 including the dispatch center recording of the original incoming call that prompted police response. Please also include any audio of recorded calls between officers and supervisors regarding this incident.
5) The name of the supervisor who was called to the scene by responding officers (seen in previously released body camera footage), the time he/she arrived and his/her written police reports/supervisor reports regarding the incident 2020009817.
