Planned NY Waterway Ferry Maintenance Facility
Dear Weehawken Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

The Township of Weehawken is in receipt of your OPRA request dated
February 1, 2026 seeking the following documents:
Request: "Approved plans for NY Waterway Ferry Maintenance Facility
showing where the pumps will be located that are used to pump oil, sewage,
and other waste from the ferries."
Your preferred delivery method for the documents sought is either by (a)
download link or (b) email with attachments.
The approved plans for NY Waterway Ferry Maintenance Facility are not
available in an electronic format. To accommodate your informational
needs, the Township will provide you with the opportunity for an in-person
on-site inspection of the plans at Weehawken Town Hall located at 400 Park
Avenue, Weehawken, NJ 07086.
In the alternative, the Township can provide you with a hard copy of the
approved plans you seek. If you want a hard copy of the plans, the
Township shall impose a special service charge for services associated
with compiling and duplicating the full-size site plans by an outside
vendor. This will require a deposit of $75.00.
Under OPRA, a "special service charge" can be added for requests requiring
"an extraordinary expenditure of time and effort" to fulfill.
Please advise of the available methods you wish to receive the information
sought in your OPRA request.
