Good Afternoon,

Attached please find the document(s) responsive to your OPRA
request regarding Dispatch Statistics. The reports for November and
December 2021 are blank as there were no dispatches for North Stelton or
River Road Rescue Squads and JFK Hackensack does their own dispatch
reporting. Also please note that the January 2022 report has not been
submitted yet.

Your request is now closed.

Thank you,

Kelly Mitch

Dear Kelly Mitch,

Please provide records for the months of November and December 2021 as required by N.J.S.A 26:2K-67b:

b. Each emergency medical services dispatch center shall report to the department, in a standardized format as the commissioner shall prescribe by regulation, the following information concerning each request for emergency medical services received by the dispatch center:

(1) The date, time, and location of the request for emergency medical services;

(2) The nature and circumstances of the emergency, as provided to the dispatch center;

(3) The identity of each emergency medical services provider dispatched to the scene of the encounter; and

(4) Any other particulars of the request as may be relevant or as may be required by the commissioner.

If the Piscataway Township Police Department no longer meets the definition of an "emergency medical services dispatch center" as defined in N.J.S.A 26:2K-66:

"Emergency medical services dispatch center" means any communications center which provides services in connection with the coordination of requests for emergency medical services, including, but not limited to, call intake, call processing, emergency medical dispatch, call triage, unit assignment, and dispatch and tracking of any emergency medical services provider or other first responder.

Please provide an agreement with JFK Hackensack for call intake, call processing, and Emergency Medical Dispatch as the current PTPD Dispatcher posting (https://cms9files.revize.com/piscatawayn...) states that your dispatch services completes all of the above tasks as defined by statute.

Also, please provide a key for unit numbers as they are not distinguishable to establish "[t}he identity of each emergency medical services provider dispatched to the scene of the encounter" as required by statute.

Yours sincerely,

E.M. Smith

Dear Kelly Mitch,

Please comply with completing this request as previously defined.

Yours sincerely,

E.M. Smith
