Phone message from Marc Jellinek to Lt. Thomas Sheehan

We're waiting for Marc Jellinek to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Sayreville Borough,

This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:

I have several open OPRA requests and several open requests to the Office of Accountability. I have been assigned to speak with Lt. Thomas Sheehan. Lt. Sheehan has not been responsive to every phone call made to him. I am currently physically ill with a potentially contagious sickness (it's flu season) and do not wish to physically visit the Sayreville Police Station nor the Borough Hall. I do not think that would be wise.

I require the voicemail messages left on Lt. Thomas Sheehan's extension and phone. He provided me with the phone number 732-525-5402. Due to his previous responsiveness, I can only assume that he has access to his office voicemail (connected through the non-emergency number 732-727-4444.

I request all dispatcher logs, recordings of dispatcher calls originating from 908-230-3196 or 347-433-5775.

Please start with the voicemail message left by Marc Jellinek, call to 732-525-5402, originating from 908-230-3196 on 16 Dec 2023 within 10 minutes of 14:20 (Eastern Standard Time).

I already have a recording of every interaction from my end. It would be embarrassing if I have logs, recordings and transcripts available for judges, juries and prosecutors; while Sayreville was unable or unwilling to produce. It would just look weird. It might look like the investments in the telecom infrastructure (which should be able to pull this up at a request) were a complete waste of time and money. Taxpayer time. Taxpayer money. I'm sure there are other interpretations.

Please consider this request from the perspective of the United States Supreme Court and the Supreme Court of the State of New Jersey.

Yours faithfully,

Marc Jellinek
