Personnel, Payroll, and Disciplinary Records (Jan 1, 2025 – Present)

The request was successful.

Dear Ocean County Prosecutor's Office,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Records requested:

I request access to the following government records maintained by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office for the time period of January 1, 2025 through the present:

1. Records sufficient to show the name, title/position, date of hire, and current salary for all current employees.

2. Records sufficient to show payroll data, including base salary and overtime compensation, for all employees.

3. Records sufficient to show all separations of employment, including retirements, resignations, and terminations, including the date and reason for separation.

4. Records of final agency disciplinary actions, including but not limited to suspensions, terminations, or demotions.

5. Records sufficient to show the number of internal affairs or professional standards complaints received and the disposition of such complaints (e.g., sustained, not sustained, exonerated, unfounded), for the time period requested.

6. Any settlement agreements involving employees.

7. Any records sufficient to show outside employment disclosures or conflict-of-interest filings, if maintained.

This request seeks existing records only and does not require the creation of new records. If any portion of this request is denied, please provide a written explanation citing the specific legal basis for the denial.

If the requested records are available in part, I request that any exempt portions be redacted and the remaining records be produced.

My preferred delivery method for response(s) to this request is by E-mail as attachments. Please confirm you have received this request. If you are not the custodian of records, please forward my request to that person and provide their email address to me for future reference.

Yours faithfully,

Steven Miller
