PBA Board Members and expense statements
Dear North Bergen Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
Name, Rank, Badge Number, and PBA Board Member title for all members of the North Bergen Police Department's Police Unions, specifically PBA18 and PBA18a. What members have access to withdrawing PBA funds? What members have PBA credit cards and/or debit cards? PBA statements from past 4 years for this year, and 2023, 2022, and 2021, from these credit card and/or debit cards to include date of transaction, merchant name and/or transaction description, and dollar amount. How much money was collected from off duty details deposited to the good and welfare fund for this year 2024, and each year of 2023, 2022, and 2021. How much total money was spent on the community these past 4 years? How much total money was spent not on the community these past 4 years such as lavish dinners from expensive restaurants and entertainment.
