Dear Gabriella Siboni,
Please advise as to who directed the redaction of the overtime records request. There is no security compromise in displaying which overtime categories are being used. For example. If an officer worked
COURT overtime it does not indicate the date, time, location, case or any other compromising factor. With regard to the request. Simply putting a total amount per officer is misleading as to how overtime is being appropriated for the periods requested. Many of us I'm Old Bridge PBA LOCAL 127 reside within the Township of Old Bridge and would like to know how the overtime is being spent. Furthermore the union also is FULLY within their realm to obtain such breakdowns for two reasons 1) to assist in possibly curbing wasteful overtime and save the taxpayers significant amounts of money and 2) for any current or future collective bargaining negotiations between the union and the Township. Please resend the requested material or provide information as to who determined it should be redacted. Thank you.
