Hello,

The City of Hackensack Clerk's Office is in receipt of your recent OPRA
request (our reference #282) dated March 16, 2023 which seeks certain
records with the City of Hackensack.  The seventh business day from
receipt of this request is today, March 27, 2023.

Due the voluminous nature of your request, the City requires additional
time to review and respond to your OPRA request. OPRA allows custodians to
seek extensions of time pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5.i.  Specifically,
OPRA states that, "the requestor shall be  advised by the custodian when
the record can be made available.  If  the record is not made available by
that time, access shall be deemed  denied."

At this time, the City is requesting a fourteen (14) business day
extension.  We anticipate that the City will have an update regarding your
request by Monday, April 17, 2023.  The City also reserves the right to
request an additional extension of time, if necessary. See Scheeler v. New
Jersey Department of Educ., GRC Complaint No. 2014-123 (Feb. 2016).
