Ordinance 701 Reporting Documents
Dear Buena Borough Fire District #2,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
Copies of all documents, electronic and physical, that the Board of Fire Commissioners for Buena Borough Fire District #2 have submitted to the Borough of Buena Municipal Clerks Office pursuant to Borough Ordinance #701.
Ordinance #701, Section 3 required reporting to the Borough of all real and personal property owned or titled in the name of Borough of Buena Fire District #1 and all monies remaining in Borough of Buena Fire District #1 treasury shall be transferred to the Board of Commissioners of Fire District #2 and a copy of all documents and records pertaining to same shall be delivered to the Borough Clerk of the Borough of Buena forthwith.

We are in receipt of your request. Unfortunately, there are no physical nor electronic correspondence between Fire District 2 and the Buena Borough Clerk due to the fact that no such documents were ever turned over to the clerk by Fire District 1 at the time of dissolution. Some items, including numerous files that should exist, were not able to be located at the Arbor Ave. property and deemed missing or removed from the property prior to dissolution. This matter remains in litigation at this time, as we are attempting to have the issue resolved as soon as possible.
