Ordinance 1966
Please accept this as my request for government records under both OPRA and the common law right of access. Thank you very much for your commitment to transparent government.
BACKGROUND:
On June 22, 2010, the Township Council passed Ordinance No. 3234 that repealed Belleville’s Code § 3-10, (Loitering). The Township Council took this action in response to my request, in my capacity of Chairman of the New Jersey Libertarian Party's Preempted Ordinance Repeal Project. Unfortunately, I did not retain a copy of the repealed § 3-10 in my files.
RECORDS REQUESTED:
1. If the Township still retains a copy of § 3-10 as it existed immediately prior to its repeal, that would satisfy my request.
2. If no record is responsive to No. 1 above, I would like a copy of Ord. No. 1966, adopted on November 23, 1976, which contains the original § 3-10.
