OPRA requests from Michael Shelton to Wall Municipal
Dear Wall Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

May I have a copy of any OPRA request for documents from Michael Shelton and all documents returned to him for any OPRA request he submitted.

OPRA Request – Return Date and Response Format - OPRA requests from Michael Shelton to Wall Municipal and the responsive replies. Time Frame is 2/1/2024 - 2/11/2026.
Dear Ms. Lang and Ms. Pagnoni:
I am writing to confirm that my OPRA request, covering the time period of February 1, 2024 through February 11, 2026, for OPRA requests of Michael Shelton was submitted prior to 4:00 PM on February 11, 2026. Pursuant to the statutory seven (7) business day response period, the request is due on or before Monday, February 23, 2026 not Tuesday February 24, 2026 as Ms. Pagnoni writes above. I have retained a copy of the time-stamped submission for my records. As you are aware, February 23rd falls one day prior to the next Municipal meeting.
In addition, I respectfully request that all responsive records including all attachment be provided in PDF format (either as a single consolidated PDF file or as multiple PDF files), rather than via a link to the external office of the Township Attorney Sean Kean who is also my assemblyman. Providing the records directly in PDF format will ensure consistent and ongoing public accessibility with the files remaining on OPRA Machine.

In the link below, please find all records readily identified as responsive by the Township. The Township has redacted certain personal information, which includes unlisted telephone numbers, etc. See N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1.1 provides that “a public agency has a responsibility and an obligation to safeguard from public access a citizen’s personal information with which it has been entrusted when disclosure thereof would violate the citizen’s reasonable expectation of privacy.” This includes social security numbers, personal telephone numbers, email addresses, bank account information, driver’s license numbers, dates of birth, SBI numbers, etc.
Your OPRA request is now deemed answered and closed by this department. In the event of a clarification or appeal, Township reserves the right to raise any other ground for denial not raised in this response. The failure of Township to assert an exception or privilege at this time does not act as a waiver of any grounds for denial. Thank you for your professional courtesies and attention to this matter.
