OPRA request - Use of force reports 2017-2019

We're waiting for Taeho Kim to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Clark Township,

This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.

Records requested:

All use of force reports completed by the police department from January 1st 2017 to December 31st, 2019.

for 2017-2019.

 

1.       All body worn cameras were deployed 01/2016

2.       The department purchased 20 Body Worn Cameras

 

Since 2015 the department has been involved in 4 lawsuits.

1.       Use of force allegation  in 2015 filed in federal court (ongoing)

2.       False arrest 2015   Dismissed by the court

3.       Motor vehicle accident July 2018 (ongoing)

4.       Motor vehicle accident during a pursuit January 2019 ( ongoing)

 

We have no records of any lawsuits prior to 2015

We do not hold the complaints to the above list of lawsuits.
