Taeho Kim;
Good Morning, I have just been informed that a request for an extension of time is needed to obtain all of these records your OPRA request asked for.
I do not have access to these records, because Swedesboro does not have its own police department we have a share services with the Woolwich Twp.
Police. I forwarded your request on 5/29/2020, and just received notice that they need more time to obtain these records. Due to the COVID 19 issue's
Would you kindly give us a 19 day extension, the records should be able to be obtained before or on July 6, 2020.
Thank You

Good Morning Necon,
Please be advised that we have reviewed the above referenced request, and
we are in the process of retrieving the documents that are responsive to
this request. However, additional time will be required to retrieve all
of the documents. Please respond to the requestor with the following
extension request:
At this time, your request requires an additional forty-five (45) days
beyond the seven (7) business days to review, and if appropriate, provide
the documents to fulfill your request. As you know, OPRA allows
custodians to seek extensions of the time pursuant to N.J.S.A.
47:1A-5(i). In addition, the statute has recently been amended to provide
that the normal deadlines shall not apply, provided however, that the
custodian of a governmental record shall make a reasonable effort, as the
circumstances permit, to respond to a request for access to a governmental
record within seven (7) business days or as soon as possible thereafter.
Be advised that we are making a reasonable effort, as the circumstances
permit, to review and respond to your request, which includes an extension
of time as needed.
