I received your OPRA request on May 28, 2020 for a copy of “all employees who worked in the police department at any point of time from 2012-2019. Please provide the name, hire date, current status (whether active or separated), and date of separation.” This response is being provided to you on the third (3rd) day of the custodian’s receipt of the said request.

The following records are being provided in their entirety and are responsive to your request:

1. Police Department Employees (2 pages)

Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5.b, there is no cost associated with this request as the documents are being transmitted to you electronically.

If your request for access to a government record has been denied or unfulfilled within the seven (7) business days required by law, you have a right to challenge the decision by the Borough of Bergenfield to deny access. At your option, you may either institute a proceeding in the Superior Court of New Jersey or file a complaint with the Government Records Council (GRC) by completing the Denial of Access Complaint Form.
