I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

Please provide existing records only. I am not asking the District to create a new record, perform legal analysis, answer questions, or prepare a new summary.

Requested records:

1. General ledger, account analysis, budget detail, expenditure detail, or transaction detail reports for the legal services account(s) identified above.
2. Purchase order reports for legal services vendors charged to those account(s).
3. Vendor payment, check register, or disbursement reports showing payments to legal services vendors charged to those account(s).
4. Contracts, retainer agreements, professional services agreements, appointment resolutions, or board resolutions for legal services vendors for the fiscal years listed above.
5. Legal invoices or billing summaries for legal services vendors for the fiscal years listed above. I understand that privileged narrative descriptions may be redacted, but OPRA does not categorically exempt attorney bills or invoices; bills/invoices may be produced with privileged information redacted.

If the District maintains any existing report or field identifying matter type, such as general counsel, special education, labor/personnel, litigation, settlement, insurance/E&O, or other legal category, please include that existing report or field. If no such categorization is maintained, please state that no responsive categorization record is maintained.

Please provide the records electronically by email or through OPRAmachine. If any responsive record is denied, redacted, unavailable, or not maintained, please identify the record or category and provide the specific legal basis.
