Dear Garfield City,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Traffic or surveillance camera footage, video recordings, or still images from any city-operated or affiliated surveillance or traffic camera systems located at or near 133 Monroe Street, Garfield, NJ 07026, for the date and time of June 7, 2025, between 5:40 AM and 6:00 AM.
This request is in connection with a hit-and-run incident in which my father was the victim. I am specifically seeking footage that may show a white pickup truck, which was involved in the incident.

identifiable responsive records for any other Video Surveillance Cameras

The requested file is too large to send electronically. One (1) DVD
containing one (1) Video File of Video Surveillance Footage located in the
area of Palisade Ave. and Monroe St. on June 7th, 2025 between 5:40am thru
6:00am can be picked up at Garfield Police Headquarters - Records
Division: Monday - Wednesday / 8:30am - 5:00pm, Thursday / 8:30am –
