OPRA Request for Cannabis Revenue
Dear Office of the Clerk,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access as per NJSA 47:1A-6(f).
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
Following cannabis-related data for the years 2021 to 2024:
- local cannabis transfer tax,
- cannabis user tax,
- social responsibility revenue, and
- any additional sources of local revenue, such as cannabis application fees.

OPRA Dated 5-22-25 - OPRA Request for Cannabis Revenue.
Local cannabis transfer tax received in 2024 was $204,637.5. The Township received nothing cannabis related prior to 2024 and has never received any cannabis user tax, social responsibility revenue or additional cannabis revenues. Please confirm receipt of this OPRA. This OPRA is deemed complete.
