#23-1302:

Mr. DeStefano,

I am responding to OPRA #1302-23, your email for 1
Hillside Avenue, Hazlet NJ. I am answering for the County
Clerk's portion of the request. The records of the County
Clerk are public records and can be viewed/printed by the
public Monday through Friday, except holidays, between
the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm here in our office located
at 33 Mechanic Street in Freehold. Each record copied has
a fee of $05. Liens or judgments may be found in the
records if they are relevant to property records. You may
want to try the Monmouth County Superior Court also. If
there is a judgement for money, the County Clerk would
not have that record. Also, the County does not have
copies of surveys. The BEING clause of a deed or the
Legal Description (Schedule A) may make reference to a
survey being performed on the property. You may try and
contact that person or company to determine if they have
a copy of the survey. If not, you would have to request a
new survey.
