OPRA Request – Existing BWC/MVC Requests and Previously Provided Footage
Dear Bridgewater Township,
Pursuant to the New Jersey Open Public Records Act (OPRA), N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq., I respectfully request access to the following records:
1. All OPRA requests received by your agency from January 1, 2025 to the present that sought Body-Worn Camera (BWC) or Motor Vehicle Camera (MVC) footage.
2. For each of those requests, please provide the BWC/MVC footage that was already located and released in response to those OPRA requests.
• I am not requesting new searches for incidents,
• I am not requesting your agency to identify or locate new footage, and
• I am requesting only copies of material that has already been gathered, reviewed, and previously provided in response to another request.
This request is not being made for a commercial purpose. I agree to accept the records in any digital format in which they already exist so as to minimize agency workload.
If any portion of the request is unclear or requires narrowing, please advise and I will promptly clarify.
