Dear Piscataway Township,

This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:

Please provide the following:

1. As of the date of receipt of this request: Document(s) listing ALL of the boards, commissions, and committees which have been established by the municipal government as described in this newspaper article: https://www.tapinto.net/towns/piscataway/sections/government/articles/piscataway-mayor-council-members-take-oaths-of-office-to-begin-new-terms

Quoting from the article: "Council members voted to approve Mayor Wahler’s appointments to the township’s many commissions and committees. These included the Civil Rights Advisory Commission, Green Initiatives Committee, Historic Preservation Advisory Commission, Municipal Alliance Substance Abuse Task Force, and Planning Board among others."

Please note this request is for ALL boards, commissions, and committees not just those listed in the article.

2. As of the date of receipt of this request: Document(s) describing the purpose, function, and/or mission of each of the boards, commissions, or committees as noted in Item #1 above, including the rules, process, or procedure for appointing members.

3. As of the date of receipt of this request: Document(s) detailing current membership of each of the boards, commissions, or committees including any titles or positions such as chair, secretary, etc.

4. As of the date of receipt of this request the personnel records or information (to the extent permitted by law) for any member of any boards, commissions, or committees who is also an employee of the Township of Piscataway.

4. For the period beginning 10/1/2020 thru the date of receipt of this request: Document(s) including emails and any other correspondence either 1) submitted to or 2) sent by any member of the township administration to or from any member of any boards, commissions, or committees with respect to their application to or appointment to any boards, commissions, or committees.

5. For the period beginning 10/1/2020 thru the date of receipt of this request: Document(s) including emails and any other correspondence either 1) submitted to or 2) sent by any member of the township administration to or from ANY PERSON with respect to their application or inquiry about any boards, commissions, or committees to which they were not appointed.
