OPRA Request - City Hall Surveillance Video & Logs (Jan 14, 2026)

Currently waiting for a response from Trenton City, they should respond promptly and normally no later than (details).

Dear City of Trenton Records Custodian,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Records requested:
Please provide copies of the following public records narrowed specifically to January 14, 2026, between the hours of 9:30 AM and 2:00 PM EST:

1. Surveillance Video: All closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage, digital video recordings, interior security camera feeds, and exterior perimeter camera footage from Trenton City Hall and the City Hall parking lot areas.

2. Municipal Staff Logs: Any internal typed notes, system logs, visitor logs, or computer database entries made by City Hall or Municipal Court staff regarding communications with phone number 856-332-8998 or regarding the tickets h58VFJ and D43WPH.
