OPRA REQUEST Borough of South River
Dear South River Borough,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
All active shooter calls and computer aided dispatch (CAD) notes for active shooters for the last 10 years at the Pillars Preparatory Academy School South River, NJ 08882.
An active shooter is defined as any person or student with a gun or any type of weapon. Please list all Borough personnel working these calls for service.
Please submit police body worn camera footage for all responding personnel pertaining to CAD entry 22-21116
Please submit the South River Police Departments Annual Major Discipline Summaries Pursuant to IAPP Section 9.11.2 for the years 2022 and 2021.
Yours faithfully,
Anonymous
Hello,
At this time, I am respectfully requesting an extension to March 24th, 2023.
Thank you
Dear Alyssa Guglietti,
Submit to this request the body worn camera footage as soon as possible for the above mentioned police interaction. This was not a medical call for service, and should be readily available. As per the AG guidelines, body worn camera footage is to be destroyed after 180 days. In this particular instance the footage is due to be destroyed 03/23/2023. Again, submit the footage before destruction or notify the appropriate authority to delay said destruction of evidence.
Yours sincerely,

Hello,
As per my March 8th email, an extension to your OPRA has been requested. The information needs to be obtained from a different department and that department will provide the information to my office on March 24th, 2023.
Thank you.
Dear Alyssa Guglietti,
Confirm that the video/bwc will be preserved until this OPRA request has been fulfilled. Like previously mentioned it is due for destruction on 03/23/23.
If you cannot confirm it will be preserved, and not destroyed, advise as well.
Yours sincerely,
