Good afternoon,
As written your request will be denied in part. OPRA requires you to request "Identifiable Records" not just the types of records with criteria. If is not the role of the records custodian to research a property to see if permits or violations may or may not exist.
If you want a permit for example, you must provide the type of permit what it was for wand approximately when it was issued. For example, the plumbing permit for a 1/2 bath installed in 1995.
Please provide more details for the requested permits or violations.
The township can provide a permit history report which will give details on the permits issue to the property, or a violation history report which will show the violations against the property and the status of both.
Would permit and violation reports satisfy your request?
For lien information, you would need a lien search. OPRA does not supersede state law where fees are charged for certain records. Lien Searches have fee. Contact the tax collector's office to order a search.
Please provide the requested clarification and we will proceed to process your request.
Dear William Bray,
Can you provide permit and violation history reports for the property?
Yours sincerely,
