Dear Mr. Beckwith,
Kindly be advised that the City of New Brunswick is in receipt of your
OPRA request, dated June 27, 2019, and received on June 28, 2019, in which
you request “a list of all residential properties in your city that have
had code violations any time between 4/1/2019 and 6/26/19”. Be advised
that your request is overly broad and lacks the specificity of a proper
OPRA request. Furthermore, your request is being denied as the City of
New Brunswick does not maintain the type of list you have identified, and
pursuant to the cited statute the City is not required to create a list in
response to your inquiry. Please feel free to amend your request by
identifying a particular property or properties, and the appropriate City
of New Brunswick department will respond with the specific
documents/records, (if any), that are maintained on file.
Best Regards,
