We are in receipt of your OPRA request of today. I am writing to obtain
clarification of your OPRA request for items 5 through 7 for email logs
of various employees.
In accordance with MAG Entm’t, LLC v. Div. of Alcohol Beverage Control,
375 N.J. Super. 534 , 549 (App. Div. 2005), in order to specifically
identify an email, OPRA requests must contain (1) the content and/or
subject of the email, (2) the specific date or range of dates during which
the email was transmitted or the emails were transmitted, and (3) a valid
email request must identify the sender and/or the recipient thereof.
So the County may process your OPRA request, please clarify as to the
specific date or date range of the communications you seek, and the
specific sender(s) and/or recipient(s).
