Dear Ridgefield School District,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
Please provide copies of all applications for the position of Principal of Ridgefield Memorial High School and copies of resumes submitted,
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

This is in response to your OPRA request seeking copies of all
applications and resumes submitted for the position of Principal of
Ridgefield Memorial High School.
Please be advised that under the Open Public Records Act (OPRA),
applications and resumes submitted in connection with a hiring process
become government records only upon the appointment or hiring of an
individual to the position. At the present time, no individual has been
hired or appointed to the position of Principal of Ridgefield Memorial
High School.
Accordingly, the records requested do not currently constitute government
records subject to disclosure under OPRA, and your request is therefore
denied as non-responsive at this time.
Nothing in this response should be construed as a denial of access to
records that may become subject to OPRA in the future upon completion of
the hiring process.
