Dear Toms River FD2,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Records requested:
Please provide any all and all emergency response records for Administrator Carson for year 2025 and 2026.

Please also provide which apparatus he responded on

Please also provide administrator Carson's training records for year 2025 and 2026

My preferred delivery method for response(s) to this request is by E-mail as attachments. Please confirm you have received this request. If you are not the custodian of records, please forward my request to that person and provide their email address to me for future reference.

Yours faithfully,

Burger King

Timothy Carson, Toms River FD2

Good morning,
The answer to your questions is as follows.
Question 1.  The administrator only answered 1 call for service and was at
the substation.  Trucks were held in quarters
Question 2.  The administrator has responded to 59 calls and was either on
3055, 3041 or at the station.  1 call he was on 3051.
Question 3.  Our attorney engaged in conversation with Frank Caruso from
the State of NJ OPRA office concerning the OPRA request and the specific
request for the administrator's training records.  He advised that if the
certifications are not necessary for the administrator to perform his job
as Administrator and he is not receiving additional pay from the FIre
District for responding to fires that there is no requirement to provide
the certifications or training records.
We will consider this request as answered and closed.
Regards,
Timothy J. Carson
