The Township of North Bergen (the “Township”) received your request dated
08/16/2025 under the New Jersey Open Public Records Act (“OPRA”), N.J.S.A.
47:1A-1 et seq. 

You requested:

 1. “Any and all job tittles and board positions held by Michael DeOreo.”

This request is improper. Under OPRA, requestors must identify with
reasonable clarity the specific government records sought. Requests that
are overly broad, request information rather than documents, or require
the custodian to analyze or interpret data are not valid under OPRA. See
MAG Entertainment, LLC v. Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control, 375 N.J.
Super. 534 (App. Div. 2005). Your request fails to seek a specific
government record.  Notwithstanding this denial, the paid positions that
Michael DeOrio has held with the Township are provided in response to
Request #2.
