Good afternoon,
In reference to the request below your request is denied as it fails to either utilize the form established by the Government Records Council, or provide all information required in that form. N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5 provides that “A request shall be submitted by a requestor in the form adopted by the custodian and the custodian may deny a request that is incomplete, except that a requestor indicating the request is being submitted anonymously shall not be grounds for denial. A completed form adopted by the custodian, a letter, or an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.” A copy of the form is attached for your use or please visit Freehold Township’s website noted below, click on the “Open Public Records Access (OPRA) Form (PDF)” input the required information on the fillable form along with the specifics of your request and then click on the clerk’s email at the top of the form to send. In accordance to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 records will be processed in 7 business days from the receipt of the request.
