On 08/04/2024 at 0157 hours Officer James Wilson III stopped a vehicle on Centennial Avenue for careless Driving. After a brief investigation the driver, Alyyah McFadden, 28, Newark, NJ was placed under arrest and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Careless Driving. Alyyah was released pending a municipal court hearing.

Would you please provide Officer James Wilson III's body cam video footage regarding this arrest.

of a driving while intoxicated subject on 08/04/2024.  Do not reply to
that email address.  Portions of the video were redacted in accordance
with NJSA 47:1A-1 privacy interest “a public agency has a responsibility
and an obligation to safeguard from public access a citizen’s personal
information with which it has been entrusted when disclosure thereof would
violate the citizen’s reasonable expectation of privacy.” See Burnett v.
Cnty. of Bergen, 198 NJ 408 (2009), and NJSA 47:1A-1.1 emergency or
security information or procedures for any buildings or facility which if
disclosed would jeopardize security of the building or facility or persons
therein.
