OPRA Request
Dear East Hanover Township,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
Alexander Jacobs of East Hanover was arrested on March 26, 2020 at his home on Selmar Terrace by the East Hanover Township Police Department. He was recently sentenced, thus, his case is closed.
In accordance with the NJ Open Public Records Act (OPRA), would you please provide the arresting officer's BWC footage and any video of interview/interrogation Alexander Jacobs participated.

Hello Kim,
I reviewed your request for Alexander Jacobs' records under the Open
Public Records Act. In your original email you specifically requested the
arresting officer's BWC footage and any interview/interrogation footage
Mr. Jacobs participated in. At the time of Mr. Jacobs' arrest, this
department was not equipped with BWCs. The interview footage with Mr.
Jacobs will be sent to you via separate email containing a cloud link
which will bring you to the video. The video will then have to
be downloaded to view. As a result, this will complete your request for
Mr. Jacobs records.
